The J.R.M. Band 2000 builds on the sound developed around 1996 except that now the Celtic harmony gets a more substantial jazz-rock rhythm foundation. The repertoire consists of Celtic folk songs and tunes performed in an unconventional way. The band often incorporates the tunes and poems of the national Scottish poet Robert Burns. Despite personnel changes, the J.R.M. Band celebrates its tenth anniversary.
The band's music sounds great during large events such as concerts in the open air, concert halls, courtyards and castle ruins and most of all (usually unplugged) in clubs, pubs and wine-cellars, where good beer is server and folk dances are performed. Very often, the music of the band is used as a main theme or a supplement to all kinds of vernissages, exhibitions, opening days, fair displays and promotional campaigns, marketing activities or sometimes it is just an excuse for having a good time. Just invite the J.R.M. Band to play for you and you will experience wild Celtic fun.

In August 2000 Martin Parker lives Poland and moves to Bahrain and is replaced by Wojtek Jachowski, a shanty performer, famous for his vigorous sessions in O'Morgan's Pub in Poznań. Wojtek Jachowski has turned out to be an excellent frontman who has good contact with all types of audience, regardless of age, views or nationality. At present, the members of the J.R.M. Band are:

Wojtek Jachowski, vocals, guitar
Zbyszek Rybak, fiddle
Mariusz Graczyk, accordion
Witek Wojtkowiak, percussion
Mariusz Sprutta, bass guitar, whistle, backing vocals
Micha³ Jankowski, guitar, flute

The JRM Band performs in the new line-up from September 2000. That includes the ¦wierczewo Days (for a crowd of 5000), for an International Immunology Conference (twelve hundred participants from all over the world) and a meeting of the Polish Food Technology Society. During the Sixth International Celtic Festival the band performs a joint concert with the Scottish group Bśrach in Blue Note Jazz Club in Poznań. There also is a successful performance with the Elphin dancers during The British Days on December 12th in ¦wiecie (in North Central Poland). After the CELT 2000 Festival The J.R.M Band begins closer cooperation with the Irish dance Group Elphin from Gdańsk - one of the best Celtic dance groups in Poland which is often compared to the Irish Riverdance. The band also cooperates with bagpipe players Przemo Wawrzyniak and Pawe³ Kobus, harpist - Luiza Harasim-Grzelka and dancers: Anna Nied¼wied¼ and Konrad Wi¶niowski. In 2001 The J.R.M. Band takes part in coutless jam sessions in pubs: Burns' Night in FAXE at Harry's and during the Tenth Theatre Festival - DRAMA 2001 in Bydgoszcz, which coincided with St. Patrick's Day. to name just a couple. In university season 2002/2003 (October-April) the band performs regularly once a month at Club, Gallery & Pub ZAK in Poznań (see: previous localization of the Club and Gallery ZAK and new place of the Club, Gallery & Pub ZAK). St. Patrick's Day seems to be a kind of traditional opportunity to meet with Irish music. The St. Patrick Weekend 2003 Tour the band plays in Wroc³aw, Warsaw and Poznań.
