Michał Jankowski (native of Poznań, a lecturer at the English Department of UAM in Poznań), acoustic guitar
Jacek Podbielski (native of Poznań, a musicologist, manager of the Museum of Musical Instruments in Poznań), acoustic guitar, vocals
The name J.R.M. Band comes from the first-name initials of the first musicians: Jacek, Rory, Michał
From 1992 till 2000 (with a two-year break spent in New Zealand between 1994-1996) Martin Parker an Englishman from Uttoxeter in Staffordshire, a linguist, a lecturer at the English Department of UAM in Poznań; a fiddle, mandolin and acoustic guitar player and singer, actively supports the band. In 1994 Simon Caar (NW corner of the photograph), an Irishman brought up in Manchester, performs with the J.R.M. Band, playing the Irish wooden cross flute. At that time Bogna Bartkowska (NW corner of the photograph) also joins in playing the guitar and singing old Celtic ballads.
